Age of Unicorns: The Trilogy

Part I: The Unicorns Civil War

 

Since they first appeared on earth, the unicorn tribes lived separately from one another, before being finally united by the Patron and Patroness of unicorns, who then became figures of legend for the unicorn species, known as the leaders, unifiers and protectors of the race of unicorns. They were the first who sat on the planetary throne, and they were the rulers who built the great pyramids. They brought peace to the entire world, and after their reign the unicorn tribes lived in harmony for thousands of years. During this era of peace, each tribe had their own part of the land to rule, their leaders enjoying full sovereignty over their own region. They all ultimately answered to the King of the Earth, who belonged to the Diamond Tribe, the greatest and most powerful of all the unicorn tribes, and the one to which the Patron and Patroness belonged.

 

Alongside the unicorns, there also lived a secondary race, far less populous than the unicorns: the Maligans. They were the laborers and servants of the unicorns, and they lived in their own separate areas. They, too, had their own superpowers, but they were weaker than those of the unicorns. And there was another, yet more inferior minority race that lived during that time: humans. They were the servants and slaves of both the unicorns and the maligans, since they and their civilization were less evolved than either race. During this period of time, the unicorns had established a scientifically advanced civilization after having discovered all the great mysteries of the laws of the universe and unlocked all the potential powers of their minds and bodies. They attained the highest levels of spiritual and intellectual evolution and discovered Zero Point Energy, which allowed them to travel the entire solar system and galaxy beyond. They established peace treaties with various different races and beings on other planets.

 

The unicorn civilization was led by a delegation from the four most powerful tribes: Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire. The source of their power came from the great pyramids, which emitted a powerful force of life energy, providing them with superpowers and remarkable longevity, until their life spans came to be hundreds of years long. The pyramids also served as portals that allowed them to visit other times and other dimensions, and to communicate with beings in different parts of the galaxy.

 

When a giant meteor struck the earth, all the races on the planet were affected, but the worst damage was inflicted upon the regions of the four ruling tribes, whose energy-emitting pyramids were all destroyed. The four tribes were threatened with annihilation and extinction, so they decided to move to the lands of other tribes so they could tap into their sources of energy. The other tribes, however, refused to receive them, for they had found a golden opportunity to put an end to the rule of the four tribes. The four elite tribes then decided to band together and raise a great army in order to fight all the other tribes to take over their lands and pyramids and force them to submit to the will of the four tribes.

 

All of them agreed to this except for the King of the Earth, the leader of the Diamond Tribe, as he had discovered that there was a race of beings from another planet who wanted to take advantage of the conflict between the unicorn tribes and were planning to attack the earth and conquer it in order to exploit its resources. He put together a royal army in order to do battle with the other race of beings, and before he left earth he asked all the unicorn tribes not to wage war on one another, commanding them to make peace. Then he left, along with his army, on a journey through the different planets of the galaxy to defeat the danger that threatened the earth. It was a journey without a foreseeable end.

 

But no one heeded his warning, for after he left, the four elite tribes, including the remaining members of the Diamond Tribe, began the unicorns civil war. Neither the maligans nor the humans joined the war, for they knew that they could not compete with the superior powers of the unicorns. The war went on for many years. During the war, some of the tribal armies, realizing that they were losing the battle against the forces of the four tribes, resorted to destroying their energy-emitting pyramids so that they would not be conquered by the elite tribes. Some of the princes of the defeated tribes used the pyramid portals to flee the earth and transport themselves to another time and dimension. Before they left, they instructed their soldiers to destroy the pyramid or make it disappear once they had gone through the portal. After the armies of the four tribes defeated all the others, they began fighting amongst themselves over the supreme planetary throne. Only the Emerald and Ruby Tribes remained standing at the end, and the Ruby Tribe, which was weaker than the Emerald Tribe, asked the humans to join forces with them in order to defeat the Emeralds. This was the first time there had ever been an alliance between the unicorns and an inferior race.

 

In order to defeat the Emeralds, the Rubies armed the humans with weapons made of quartz, knowing that this material weakened the unicorns’ power. The humans at the time were made up of different peoples and tribes, but they came together under one banner in order to join the battles. The united army of the humans and Ruby Tribe managed to defeat the Emerald tribe, who had themselves joined forces with the race of maligans.

 

After the war ended, the Ruby Tribe ascended to the throne and reigned over part of the planet, while different tribes of humans reigned over the other part. Each human tribe came to control their own area, while smaller groups of the remaining, defeated unicorn tribes retreated to live in isolation in remote areas, fearing that they might be annihilated by the Ruby Tribe and the humans. The few remaining maligans, too, retreated to far-flung areas in order to hide away from the ruling unicorns and humans.

 

The various tribes of humans then united together under the banner of the most powerful human leader, who pronounced himself the first king of the humans, and became the first to rule the entire human race. Under his leadership, the humans together declared war against the Ruby Kingdom, against all the other members of the unicorn race, who were scattered and hidden across the world, as well as against the maligans. The humans’ rallying cry was that the earth belonged to humans and humans alone, and they set about annihilating the other races on the planet. There remained only very few small groups who managed to flee, scattering and disappearing to unknown parts across the world. That was how the long Unicorns Civil War ended, with the unexpected and devastating victory of the humans over all the other races, and with the destruction of all the traces of the unicorn civilization, including the majority of their pyramids and their magnificent architecture. The humans tried to re-activate the mighty force fields of the few remaining pyramids so that they could receive their powers, but they failed, because they were neither scientifically nor spiritually evolved enough.

 

The remaining pyramids were thus left abandoned for many centuries, and then the waters of the Great Flood rose up and inundated the earth, erasing every last trace of the unicorn civilization that had ruled the earth for one hundred thousand years. The Unicorns Civil War was forgotten; so, too, was the war the humans had waged against the other races, when they hunted them to extinction.

 

All of this was wiped out from human history, leaving no evidence behind of the Age of Unicorns. After the Great Flood, the humans began their own history as the sole race of beings to ever rule the earth. But some very few numbers of unicorns and maligans managed to survive, living in different parts of the world and keeping their identities secret from the humans, and the legend of the Age of Unicorns remained a mystery, unknown to anyone.
